Dorothy (Doe Doe) E. Kriston, age 86, of Masury, OH, and Hampton, GA, Passed away on June 18, 2025 in Hospice Care with family around her.
Dorothy was born March 31, 1939, in Sharon, PA, to Thomas and Marjorie (Brandt) Howard. She was raised in Masury with her other siblings.
She was married to John E. Kriston of Hammond, IN, on October 29th, 1954. They resided in Masury and raised 5 children. John and Dorothy were married a little over 50 years until John's passing in January of 2005.
Dorothy was a Homemaker who enjoyed bingo, nights out with her sister and sons. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan as well as a Cleveland Indians fan. She also loved animals and had many pet cats over the years that brought her pleasure and companionship. In 2018, Dorothy relocated to Hampton, GA, to reside with her youngest son, Mark.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband John and her son Michael, her sisters Mildred (Millie) and Mary, Her brothers Bill, Jack and Tom.
Dorothy leaves behind her sister Dolores (Howard) Neely, her sons John Jr., Patrick and Mark, her daughter Marge (Tim) Mannion. Along with her granddaughters Mary (Steve) Gill, Michelle Krzyston, Monica Krzyston, Molly (Jim) Reynolds. Also surviving, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
Dorothy (Doe Doe) was a quick witted and funny soul who was dedicated to her family and would do anything she could to help them. She left a lasting impression on anyone who had the pleasure to meet her. She was, and is, deeply loved by her family and friends and will be missed more than words can express.
Funeral arrangements will be held at John Flynn Funeral Home in Hermitage, PA on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Calling hours will take place from 10:00-12:00 in the funeral home chapel with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm.
Burial will be at Brookfield Cemetery where she will be laid at rest along side her husband John.
