Dorothy Lewis Obituary
Jesus at Governors Bend Assisted Living in Erwin, TN, on March 19, 2024 at 12:04p.m, on the
first day of spring.
“June” was born in Iager, WV to the late Oscar and Melinda Head. She was preceded in
death by her husband, Bobby C Lewis, (married 69 years) and 2 sons, Jimmy and Rodney.
Also preceding her in death, her siblings Robert Head, Kenneth Head, Joyce Adkins, Catherine
Johnson, Bonnie Dalton and Linda Gail Collis.
She leaves behind her son Bob Lewis and wife Brenda of Erwin, TN and
Daughter-in-Law Linda Lewis of Beckley, WV. She also leaves her siblings, Ruby Moran, Lula
Mae Dobbins, Lorraine Crouse and Grandchildren Timothy (Jessica) Lewis, Brian (Melissa)
Lewis, Jonathan (Robin) Lewis, Leigh (Eric) Korn, Lauren (Mathew Johnson), 15 Great
Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild, and many loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, March 28th at 1:00pm with visitation beginning
at noon, Calfee Funeral Home, in Beckley, WV.
