Dorothy Lindsay Obituary

Dorothy Faye Lindsay, 62, of Des Arc passed away December 15, 2025 at the Iron County Medical Center in Pilot Knob, MO. She was born January 16, 1963 of St. Louis, MO to William Paul Lindsay and Alma Faye (Miller) Lindsay. She had a true gift in the kitchen and found great joy in cooking, a talent she shared lovingly with those around her. Above all else, she cherished her family and treasured every moment spent with her children and extended family. She embraced farm life with a full heart, finding peace and purpose in caring for her chickens and goats, and delighting in the simple, meaningful rhythms of country living.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Donnie Lindsay; and two nephews, Billy Devin Lindsay and Andy Lindsay.

In addition to her parents, William and Alma (Miller) Lindsay, Dorothy is also survived by her five children, Joshua Lindsay, Jeremy Acuff (Millie), James Beerbower, Joseph Beerbower and Trudi Burkett (Jeff); grandchildren, Chrissy, Marissa, Ellafair, Guinevere, Draven, Vinny, Gia, Noah, Jasmine, Zack, Eli, Natalie, Daron and Sheldon; two great-granddaughters, Marley and Iris; two brothers, Bill Lindsay and Danny Lindsay (Lauretha); one sister, Barb Brandenburger (Scott).
