Dorothy Adeline Maynard- Wrabek, age 104, peacefully passed from this life to eternal life at Green Pine Acres Nursing Home in Menahga, MN.
Dorothy was born on September 30, 1919 in Stirum, North Dakota to William and Ella (Schultz) Meyer. She attended public schools in Stirum and graduated high school and went on to attend college. She was united in marriage to Eugene Maynard in 1942 and resided in Moorhead, MN until his passing in 1977. In 1994 she married Walter Wrabek of Menahga, MN who passed away in 2011.
Dorothy enjoyed many things. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed singing, dancing, bowling, quilting, baking, and many more interesting things.
Dorothy will be remembered by her children: Stanley Maynard, Eugenie Maynard, Linda (Thomas) Callender, stepchildren: Karen (Richard) Kok, Jeanne (Thomas) Eid, Lynn (Steve Liston) Wrabek, Lisa (Russell Waldorf) Wrabek, dearly loved grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Eugene Maynard; second husband Walter Wrabek; sister and brother.
Memorial services will be held in the early summer of 2024.
