Dorothy Pate Mobley

Dorothy Pate Mobley passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 76 years. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Elisha Mobley Jr.; son Courey (Miriam) Mobley; three grand-daughters: Janae Benson, Courtney and Courtlyn Mobley; three great grandsons: Jayce, Rory and Jayden; three brothers: Matthew, Jr. (Letrice), William (Elnora) and James (Louise) Pate; four sisters, Ruby Hull (Israel), Joyce, Kathy and Carol Pate; six in-laws: Jimmy Wilcox, Elvert Bijou, Hilda Morgan, Annetta Walker (Neal) and Donald Mobley (Frankie). She was preceded in death by her parents Hattie and Matthew Pate, Sr., one brother: Robert Pate and three sisters: Audrey Wilcox, Odele Lewis and Bernadine Rogers. She also leaves her legacy to nieces, nephews, relatives, church members, and friends. You are invited to attend her final service on Saturday December 13, 2025, at The Asia Baptist Church, 1400 Sere St. New Orleans, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the Homegoing Service will start at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Kenneth Thibodeaux, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.
