Dorothy "MiMi" Paul was born on April 5, 1940, and made her home in Pearl, Mississippi for the past 35 years. She spent much of her life dedicated to teaching at Pearl Lower Elementary, where she touched the lives of countless children with her kindness and patience.
Dorothy was a gentle soul who loved her family deeply and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers and plants with the same care and devotion she gave to her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Paul; her parents; and her grandson.
She is survived by her two children: David Paul and his wife Lisa, along with their three children, Brittany, Christian, and Zachary; and Julie Simmons and her children, Danny McDonald and his wife Kristina, and Michael.
Dorothy's love and legacy also live on through her great-grandchildren: Isabella "Bella," Kaiden, Teaghan, Jaxon, Rylan, Ethan, Cash, and Livie.
She will be remembered always for her loving heart, her devotion to family, and the countless lives she touched.
