Dorothy Marie Roberts

Dorothy Marie Roberts, age 100, passed away June 6, 2022. She was born on March 9, 1922 in Barberton, Ohio. Dorothy was a graduate of Barberton High School and a May Day attendant. She worked at B& W, where she met her husband; she also worked as a receptionist at a downtown beauty salon and as a clerk at two local pharmacies. Her most important job was that of a homemaker and a mother to her two daughters and her many pets.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, Leonard "Bud" Roberts; mother, Mary Thompson; and step-father, Tommy Thompson.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter and caregiver, Karen Roberts and daughter, Connie (Doug) Bunting; grandsons, Brian (Patty) Bunting and Kenneth (Jerri) Bunting; great-grandchildren, Eric Stone and Jessica Bunting; and extended family and friends.
Per Dorothy's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
Memorials may be made in her name to: PETA, ASPCA, or the Humane Society.
