Dorothy C. (Labossiere) Sabetta, 87, resident of Warwick, RI, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Alice (Iredale) Labossiere. Dorothy was the beloved mother of Thomas S. Sabetta (Tina), Bernard T. Sabetta III (Christine), Michael J. Sabetta (Kerri), Darlene M. Sanders (Scott), and the late John J. Sabetta and Steven F. Sabetta. Loving G-ma to Angel M. Parton, Samantha L. Sanders, Alexandra N. Sanders, Haley A. Sabetta, Sydney A. Sabetta, Dallas J. Smith, and Michael J. Sabetta Jr. She was the sister of the late Helen Dunbar (late, Tony), Edna Northup (late, James), and Robert Labossiere (Peggy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Dorothy graduated from Lockwood High School Class of 1953. She was employed by the Warwick Police Department from 1953 – 1960. She then worked as a teacher assistant for Child Inc. Head Start Program. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held Monday, March 13, 2023 at 10am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Visiting hours, Sunday 3-6pm. Private burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick.
