Dorothy A. Seling

Dorothy A. (Neuman) Seling, age 85, of Springettsbury Township, York, PA (formerly from Dagsboro, DE), passed away peacefully at home on November 30, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Charles J. Seling, Sr.; together they shared 66 years of marriage.
Dorothy was born in Baltimore, MD on October 29, 1938 and was the daughter of the late William and Edna (Bredemeyer) Neuman. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in East York, PA and her faith and love of Jesus were an integral part of her life. Dorothy spent her life as a homemaker raising her children and also enjoyed games, golfing, traveling, sewing and spending time with her family.
In addition to her loving husband Charles, Dorothy is survived by her children Deborah Hall (Dennis), Charles J. Seling, Jr. (Cheryl), Janice Holcomb, and Kathy Amole; eight grandchildren Brandon, Jordan (Hannah), Devin (Taylor), Charles III (Jessica), Benjamin, Ryan, Joshua and Nicole; and five great-grandchildren Willow, Luke, Noa, Graysen, Tallulah.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 1:00PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2935 Kingston Rd., York, PA 17402 with Rev. Kyle S. Sahd as celebrant. The family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00PM – 1:00PM on Thursday in the narthex of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Inurnment will be held privately at Holy Savior Cemetery in York, PA on Friday, December 8, 2023.
Funeral services are under the direction of Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of East York, PA.
