Funeral services for Dorothy Faye Severance, 76, will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, 8801 Mansfield Rd. in Shreveport. A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Dorothy was born June 5, 1947 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Henry R. Skyles and Ozie Snead Skyles and passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 in Marshall, Texas.
Dorothy was a school bus driver for Caddo Parish schools. She was married to Bob Severance for 15 years. She loved life and had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved to spend time with her family and adored her children and grandchildren.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ozie Skyles; and brother, Harold Skyles. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Robert Severance; her two sons, Tim and Scott; and her grandchildren, Audrey, Jozey, Josh, and Jesse.
Honoring Dorothy as pallbearers will be Scott Wagley, Jozey Wagley, Punkin Wood, Ronnie Crews, and Mike Fuqua.
The family will forever love and cherish her memory.
