Dorothy Singleton, age 88, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Singleton was born in Conway, a daughter of the late Julius Franklin Cooper and the late Ruth Jones Cooper. She was a faithful member of High Point Baptist Church and the Baptist Women. Mrs. Singleton retired from AVX after many years of service. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harry Duvall Singleton.
Survivors include her two sons, Wesley Singleton (Annette) of Conway and Steve Singleton (Kim) of Seneca; two daughters, Sarah Griffin of Winterville, NC and Denise Bass (Ricky) of New Bern, NC; seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, May 5, 2025 at High Point Baptist Church with Rev. Mack Hutson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
Memorials may be sent to the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class (The Golden Girls), c/o High Point Baptist Church, 6923 Juniper Bay Road, Conway, SC 29527.
