Dorothy C. Tedeschi, 69, of Walnut Lane, Greenville, passed away on Sunday October 5th in the Hospice Intake Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of James P. Tedeschi. They had been married for 45 years.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Daniel T. and Eunice W. (Clark) McCormick. She had lived in Greenville her whole life.
She had been a teacher's aide for the Northern RI Collaborative before retiring.
Besides her husband she leaves a son, Timothy Tedeschi of Greenville. She was the sister of David McCormick and his wife, Jane of Hull, MA, Donald McCormick and his wife, Dianne of Glocester, Duane McCormick and his wife, Michele of Colchester, CT, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. She was the sister of the late Daniel C. McCormick.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday October 9th, 2025 at 9:30am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Smithfield. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held Thursday October 9th from 8:30am to 9:30am.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, RI Chapter, 245 Waterman Street, Unit 306, Providence, RI 02906 Alzheimer's Association
