Pasquale V. Tedeschi of Springfield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at his home on August 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, just as he wished. He was 87 years old. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, on September 27, 1937, Pasquale was the son of the late Antonio and Giacondina (Mortella) Tedeschi. A dedicated and hardworking man, Pasquale was employed by Polep Distribution in Chicopee, where he worked with pride and commitment until the age of 82. His strong work ethic and perseverance were an inspiration to those who knew him. Pasquale was immensely proud of his Italian heritage. He had a deep love for all things Italian-especially the food-and he found joy in sharing that culture with others. His passions included boxing, carpentry, and music, but above all, he cherished time spent with his family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Tedeschi; his son, Joseph Frank Tedeschi; his brothers, Gesuele, Vincenzo, Francesco and Domenico Gesuele ; and his grandson, Patrick. He leaves behind his three loving children: Maryann Gregory and her husband Francis of Springfield, Pasquale Tedeschi Jr. of Springfield, and Susan Tedeschi of Chicopee. He will be forever remembered by his six beloved grandchildren-Katie, Tasha, Michelle, Michael, and Anthony-as well as by his many great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

In accordance with Pasquale's wishes, all services and burial will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen St., Springfield, MA 01118. Pasquale's legacy of love, strength, and pride in his heritage lives on through the family he so deeply loved.
