Patricia J. Tedeschi, of Sheboygan and formerly of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay with her family by her side. She was 79 years old.

Pat was born October 19, 1945 in Wausau, the daughter of Vernon “Kelly” and Jeanne (LaHaie) Damp. She graduated from DC Everest High School in Schofield in 1963, and went on to study at UW LaCrosse and later Sacred Heart School of Practical Nursing where she graduated from in 1967 as an LPN. For 23 years, she worked at the Sheboygan Clinic.

On June 3, 1967 she was united in marriage with William “Bill” Tedeschi in Schofield.

A naturalist and avid outdoors lover, Pat taught at Woodland Dunes Nature Center and liked hiking, biking, water skiing and fishing with her dad at South Twin Lake in Conover. She also enjoyed traveling, doing puzzles, playing card games (especially bridge), and playing backgammon with Bill. Above all, she loved being with people; she cherished time spent with her grandchildren and family.

Through a 30+ year battle with myatonic dystrophy, Pat’s faith, positive attitude and big personality never wavered. Her family will always remember the joy, smile and love she brought wherever she went.

Pat is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bill, daughters Theresa (Jeffrey) Phelps of Saukville and Jennifer (Chris Lemke) Strouf-Lemke of Sheboygan, grandchildren Erin (Aaron) Schleicher and Christopher Strouf, step-grandchildren Lillian and Evelyn Lemke; nephews Todd (Monica) Tedeschi and Alan (Mary) Tedeschi; nieces Marcy Duhaine and Katie (Mark Cousins) Damp; great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-law William and Helen Tedeschi, brother Mike (Kathrine) Damp and brother-in-law Robert (Sallie) Tedeschi.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Wenig Funeral Home, 711 Broadway in Sheboygan Falls. All are welcome to view a livestream of Pat’s service on her obituary page at wenigfh.com . The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00AM-2:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Woodland Dunes Nature Center and Preserve in Two Rivers.

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay for their compassionate care, and Dr. Michael Johnson and his Nurse Practitioner Theresa for their supportive and loving care over the last years.
