Throughout her life, Dot was a beacon of light to those around her. Known for her kind heart and gentle spirit, she formed deep and meaningful connections that have left lasting impressions on all who knew her. Her legacy is one of love, compassion, and unwavering strength.
Dot was predeceased by her brothers, Marty and Sonny; her sister, Irene; brothers-in-law Larry Shaffer and Jim Kenny; her sister-in-law, Linda; and her beloved daughter, Shannon Shaffer. Despite these profound losses, Dot remained a pillar of strength for her family, providing guidance and support through every challenge they faced.
Dot is survived by her devoted husband, Gary L. Shaffer, who was not only her partner in life but also the love of her life. Together, Dot and Gary shared 45 wonderful years, filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Their relationship served as a testament to the power of love and companionship.
