Dorthy Ann Foushee was born October 29, 1937, in Taft, Texas to Joe and Anna Marie Mauch. She went to be with the Lord on September 7th, 2025. God truly blessed us with 87 years of beautiful memories. A longtime member of the Methodist church, Dorthy embraced her faith daily with Jesus as her Lord and Savior.

A graduate with honors from Taft High School and the University of Houston, Dorthy's career included real estate, the banking industry and Vice President of the Advocate Newspaper.

She loved watching sports, dancing, country music, vacationing and traveling to her ranch. She was always game for anything just to be with and enjoy her family. Just say "go" and she was ready every time. Her dedication to her family never wavered.

Always smiling, always positive, always laughing, always available, and always kind. Heaven has gained a bright shining star, just as she exemplified here on earth.

Our hearts are filled with gratitude for Ann…Mom's angel that showered her with love, cared for her every day and was her voice for many years.

We will forever be grateful to you.

A huge thank you to Norma and her staff at Village Green Alzheimer's Home in the Woodlands for their care and love to make us feel at home.

Dorthy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and sister. She leaves to cherish her memories her son Bryan (Ann Marie) and daughter Salli, brother Jimmy, granddaughter Lindsay, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Until we meet again.
