Dottie (Dorothy) Cuthrell (nee King), 92, of Alexandria, passed away on August 22, 2024 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Melbourne, Kentucky on December 6, 1931 to the late Willie and Dorothy (nee Ellison) King. She retired from St. Luke Hospital as a medical records clerk. She was a life-long member of St. Philip Parish, working at the festivals, being a Eucharistic Minister and singing in the adult choir for many years. She was very family oriented and always put her family first. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William, Paul, James, Bernard and Charles King and granddaughter Angie Cuthrell Raybourne. Dottie is survived by her two daughters, Vicky Cuthrell and Sheila Behnke; son, Mark (Paula) Cuthrell; sister, Marilyn Trutschel; three granddaughters, Allison Scharf, Sara Cuthrell, and Maria Wilke; grandson, Jacob Behnke; great grandchildren, Charley Jo Raybourne, Brody Scharf, Cybin Cuthrell and Scylla Cuthrell. Dottie will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024, 9:00 am -11:00 am at St. Philip Church, Melbourne, Kentucky with Mass following at 11:00 am, with Rev. Bob Rottgers officiating. Burial will take place in St. Stephen Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Philip Parish Capital Campaign, 5746 Mary Ingles Hwy. Melbourne, Kentucky 41059.
