He took great pride in his family and country, always standing by the highest of moral standards. He attended NCSU right out of highschool. (He was always a track star, never letting anyone win; not even his children). After College he enlisted in the United States AirForce, and while stationed in Big Spring Tx met his wife Mary. They were happily married 56yrs(before her passing). He retired in1974 honorably as CMSgt. He then attended St. Mary's University, gaining his masters in psychology. He reentered the workforce as a civilian working for the Department of Defense. At home, he was firm but loving, and there wasn't anything he wouldn't do to help family and friends. He was a Jack of all trades and could fix or build anything. He was our "superhero". His presence in our lives will be dearly missed as angels welcome him home.
