Linda Green
November 21, 2022
So, when I started at Hillside my name was Linda Bobbin (now Linda Green). I went to sign up for a training from Doug and when I told him my name he said, "What, Lorena Bobbitt?! I'd better be careful around here!" For many years I went through his restraint training classes. One year, in front of the class, he'd used me to help demonstrate a small child restraint (we all took turns as "the child" to help with the demonstrations). He told me to try as hard as I could to get out of the restrsint, and in no time at all I pushed back with my legs and we both did a somersault backwards . He was okay but kind of in shock. Everybody laughed, including Doug. He was truly a kind gentleman, great teacher, with a great sense of humor. May he rest in peace. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
