Doug was born on April 15th, 1945 in Waukau, WI. He is preceded in death by his parents Warner and Laura (Kafer) Bohn, as well as siblings and their spouses Betty & Melvin Wirth, Donald & Delores Bohn, and Warren & Gloria Bohn. He is survived by sisters Loretta (Edson) Allen and Gloria (Michael) Smith.
Doug was the loving, faithful partner to Mary Ahonen for over 30 years, and devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Mark (Margaret) Bohn, Scott Bohn (Sheila Seaborg), and Eric Bohn (Jamie Jacobs), and father-figure to Cyndi (Brent) Haasl, and Forrest Ahonen.
Doug enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren; Katie (Mark) Morphew, Lauren, Emily, Brecken, Ryan, Alyx (Eric) Alfson, Dillon Haasl, and great-grandchildren Miles, Cashton, and Griffin.
Doug graduated from Omro High School and went on to earn his bachelors degree in Business Management at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
Doug worked for over 50 years at Bohn Implement in Berlin, and Bohn Farms as salesman, consultant, and board member.
An avid hunter and fisherman, Doug also enjoyed traveling, working on a variety of philanthropic projects, golfing, reading, and playing cards with close friends.
"We will miss Doug's wisdom, generosity, kindness, infectious laughter, and his unwavering spirit. Our heartfelt thanks go to the staff at ThedaCare Hospital, and Cherry Meadows Hospice for their compassionate care during Doug's final days."
The family will host a celebration of life for Doug in the weeks to come.

My husband Mark Schultz worked for Doug at Bohn Implement for many years. This how I met Doug, a very kind , tender hearted man. Mark passed away complications of chemo on May 7, 2024. Now Doug and him are in Heaven chatting about all the all stories they went through. Mark brought one of the first skid loaders of Doug's back to life 2 to 3 years ago and Doug was sure Happy of the job Mark did. Doug will be missed by all of his family and friends. He is now free of pain and flying free!!! May he RIP!!
