Madison, WI - Douglas Tanner Domek, age 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 1, 2026. He was born on March 30,1962 in Madison Wisconsin, the son of Robert and Helen (Ziltener) Domek. He married Mary Brown on May 30, 2015.

Douglas was a graduate of Memorial High School and later MATC Madison.

Douglas loved spending time with family and was a devoted father to Olivia, Michael, Sophie (Reid), Joseph and Paige. He was an adoring Grandpa to Cecilia, Oliver, and Tarynn. He was especially excited to meet his newest grandchild, expected this summer.

Doug loved biking, swimming, and watching reruns of Green Acres and the Andy Griffin Show. Known for his quick wit and love of cracking jokes, he brought humor and warmth everywhere he went. Above all else he treasured his dog Buster, who was always by his side.

Funeral services will be held at the D.L Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead WI on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. A visitation will also take place at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead.

In honor of Doug's deep love for his grandchildren any memorial contributions will be used to support their future and can be sent to the funeral home or left in a card on the day of the funeral.
