Douglas W. Finch, Jr., age 91, long-time resident of Ashburnham, MA, passed away on September 5, 2025, following a period of declining health.
Douglas was born in Rindge, NH on April 14, 1934, a son to the late Douglas W. Finch Sr., and Henriette Whittemore.
Douglas met the love of his life having grown up as neighbors in their shared hometown of Rindge. They were married in 1973, and welcomed a son, Aaron, who was also born in Rindge. The family later made their home in Ashburnham, where Douglas and his beloved wife spent their lives together.
Douglas enjoyed many hobbies including hiking, riding his bicycle, and enjoying nature. He was a wonderful husband and father and cared greatly for his family.
In addition to his parents, Douglas was predeceased by his son Aaron Charles Finch.
Douglas will be greatly missed by his wife of 52 years, Patricia Ann (Tenney) Finch.
Douglas will be laid to rest with his son in a private ceremony at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon, MA.
