Douglas S. Laster Sr, age 53 passed away in Oneida WI on Sunday, March 31, 2024. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 5, 1970, the son of the late Luther "Big Buddy" Laster and Scharlene Kasee.
Douglas went to high school in Illinois and married Melissa Germiat who he had 4 children with.
He worked at the Oneida Casino into his thirties. He loved fishing, road tripping, karaoke, motorcycles and watching the Chicago Bears. Douglas was generous with his time he would lend a hand to the people he cared about. Doug would give the shirt off his back for anyone.
Douglas is survived by his children, Shannon (Eric) Micolichek, Scharlene Laster, Twylite (Andrew) Beach, and Timothy (Emily) Connolly; his siblings, Luther "Buddy" (Lysaine) Laster, Kelly Skenandore, and Walter (Melissa) Goodman; sister-in-law, Sherry Kasee; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Douglas Laster Jr.; and his brothers, Crete Kasee and Stephen Kasee.
Family and friends may gather at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N Tenth Street De Pere WI on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 2pm to 4pm. The Oneida Hymn Singers will begin at 3:30pm and a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will start at 4pm.
