Douglas Moormann Obituary
Doug was predeceased by his beloved wife, Cathryn A. (Krumm) Liggio, who passed in 2015. He leaves several relatives in Massachusetts and New Jersey.
Doug was born, raised, and educated in Clifton, New Jersey, then enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. He served his country honorably, then transferred to the Reserves. He worked as a Shop Steward at UPS in Saddle Brook, New Jersey for over 30 years.
Those who knew and loved Doug can attest to his unwavering loyalty, compassion, kindness, and his gentle nature. He loved to keep up with current events, and those lucky few in his life would receive "The Doug News," his own personal compilation of world events.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Veteran's Inc, 69 Grove Street, Worcester, MA 01605 (www.veteransinc.org).
Services will be held privately for Doug's family, with the assistance of the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home in Auburn.
