Uncle Doug will always be remembered by me for all the summers we spent together and all the things in life that he taught me, some good and most bad.... We lost touch in the adult life but from his obituary he was a success in that too. May his memory remain strong and true.

I spent many summers with Doug and my Grandparents when I was young. Doug taught me many things not many of which I can recite in a message of rememberance. He is thought about by me in many ways even now in my life. My life was enriched in many ways by my Uncle Doug and I am very sorry to say we lost our closeness as we grew older. May his family remember him as fondly as I do. May you Rest In Peace Doug.

Jean and family, we’re so very sorry for your loss. Doug was a good friend as we were growing up, and was also a great coach for our sons’ baseball teams during the time he lived in the Manassas area. Our thoughts are with you.

As a classmate of Doug's at Edinburg and Central, I am shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. He was a really nice, funny, and cute (had a small crush on him) guy. I don't recall seeing him after graduation so I'll remember him as we all were at that time, young and carefree.
Please accept my sincere condolences.
