Douglas Evan Sheetz, 73, of New Providence, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Ellis E. and L. Belle (Lewis) Sheetz. He was the loving husband of Linda (Creswell) Sheetz for over 38 years.
Doug was a graduate of Solanco High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking trips to Ocean City, Maryland. He loved spending with his family, especially his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Doug is survived by 3 children: Jennifer Culleton (Corey), Justin Good (Michelle), and Jason Good; 2 step children, Dawn Westcott Watson and Michael Molitor (Jamie); 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Badger and a brother, Edward Sheetz.
There will be no formal services.
Kindly omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to Dewald Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 227 West Fourth St., Quarryville, PA 17566 to assist the family with final expenses.

I do remember Doug, as a small boy in Wrightsdale Baptist and brother of my good friend and his sister, Janet. The Sheetz family, wow - loved being in their home - always so welcome there. Doug and Janet had great parents. Great memories living in that area with all those wonderful people.
