Dov Yoffe Obituary
Dov was born and raised in Boston, MA. He was a proud graduate of Boston Latin School and earned bachelor's degrees from UMass Amherst and Boston College. He divided his professional life between allergy nursing and carpentry, taking great pride in his ability to build, mix or fix anything, using his skills to help others whenever he could.
He spent many years volunteering locally with the Knights of Pythias, The Bridge Center, and the local Medical Reserve Corps as well as serving on the Board of Health in Randolph. Dov was an avid Boston sports fan, and a season ticket holder of the Boston Celtics for over 20 years. He appreciated live music and local theater performances and enjoyed his time as a "snowbird" in Delray Beach, Florida and was an active leader in his retirement community's Newcomer's Club.
Dov was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Edith (Abugov) Yoffe. Dov is survived by his wife Kathleen (nee Davidson) and their daughters, Sarah MacIsaac (Dan) of Norwood, MA, Rachel Mack (Justin) of Middleboro, MA and Leah Herrmann (Justin) of East Bridgewater, MA, and 5 grandchildren, Kensington and Corbin Mack, Tommy and Annabelle MacIsaac, and Maggie Herrmann.
Dov's funeral will be held at Schlossberg Family's Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street, Canton on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.
Those who knew Dov are invited to express their condolences at his late residence, Friday, June 13th from 4PM – 6PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Dov's memory to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org) or the American Red Cross (www.redcross.org). If you can, please give blood on his behalf.

Kathy and the girls....so sorry to hear that your husband had passed away. I have known Dov since 1999 working for Allergy and Asthma Center in Chestnut hill.Dov took my son and showed him the basics of carpenter work, one of many side jobs he did helping people..he will definitely be missed..

I only got to know Dov over this past year plus through his good work on the golf committee for Easter Seals Massachusetts. I always found him to be an upbeat, generous, helpful and most engaging soul who was a pleasure to know and work with , even while battling through his serious health issues . God bless you Dove and rest in peace, we'll miss you .

I only learned of Dov's passing recently. I met Dov when he worked in Dr. Listernick's office. He was a very kind gentleman. It was a pleasure knowing Dov. I'm very sorry for your loss. God be with his entire family.

I remember Dov (David) as an eleven or twelve-year-old sixie (7th grader) at BLS. I was his homeroom and English teacher, and he was an eager hard worker. I remember some years after his graduation when he worked for a couple of years in the alumni office, probably preparing for his career. Fond memories.

To Dov's family, I am so sorry for your loss. I just saw Rachel's post today, and I'm heartbroken to not have had the chance to pay my respects to all of you in person. I met Dov many years ago through volunteering with the MRC. He was a fountain of knowledge that he willingly shared with everyone. He also shared his Red Sox tickets, which enabled me to take my niece to her first Red Sox game. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren, always chatting about their visits. We also shared notes about various shared injuries/treatments. May he rest in peace .
