Gus graduated from Cor Jesu high school in 1957 and attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, graduating with a BS in 1962. He earned a D.M.D. from Alabama School of Dentistry in 1966 and entered the U.S. Air Force where he served 2 years as a Dental Officer. Following military service, Gus and Jan returned to New Orleans and opened a dental practice which spanned 35 years. He was an active member of the American Dental Association and the New Orleans Dental Society.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Sat, August 30, at St Catherine of Siena, Metairie, LA with visitation 10-11am; mass at 11am. Interment will be private.
