Dr. Lois J. Bachman, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025. Wife of the late William Bachman. Mother of Linda Wertman (Stan Sheckman), Steven (Gilat) Jaffee and Suzanne (Skip) Appleton. Grandmother of Danielle (Matt) Somers, Elan (Jennifer) Jaffee and Natalia Jaffee (Jonathan Knapp). Great Grandmother of Emily and Ethan Somers.
Lois received a scholarship to Temple University where she exceled, earning both her undergraduate and Master’s degrees. At the age of 50, Lois completed her Ph.D in Business Education at Temple. She was a high school teacher, a training director at Mobil Oil, and a professor and department head at Philadelphia Community College for over 20 years. She authored several business education textbooks, edited many others and was a National President and spokesperson for American Business Communication Professionals.
Lois loved cruises, traveled the world with her husband Bill and was an avid fan of the Phillies. She loved Broadway, needlepoint/crocheting, music/opera, Jeopardy, crossword puzzles, movies, dancing, and reading.
She loved her family, her 52-year marriage to Bill, her children and grandkids, great grandkids and fur baby, Mingy. She was brilliant, classy, beautiful, and had a great joie de vivre. Her sense of humor, compassion and smile were gifts to all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 11:30 am precisely at GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S FUNERAL DIRECTORS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966. Interment Roosevelt Memorial Park.
