Dr. Paul Arthur Little a.k.a. “Dr. Paul” passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at a medical rehab after a short illness. He was 88 and was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. Paul was born in Greenup, Kentucky on February 22, 1937 to the late James Arthur and Cassie (Traylor) Little. Paul had worked every day for 75 years starting at the age 13, where he began delivering newspapers. He then became a shoe shine boy and eventually was able to go into bars and shine shoes for the patrons. Paul joined the Army 101st Airborne Division in 1955 and had his boot camp in Fort Jackson, SC at the age of 18, where he saw the last few days of the Korean War. Once he got out of the service, the first woman he met and fell in love with was Barbara Napier, marrying her on August 8, 1959. They shared 66 years of marriage until her passing on August 15, 2025.

They moved to Maryland, after getting married, Paul went on to college, receiving his Bachelors of Science and a Master in Business Administration, both from the University of Baltimore. He then received a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration from LaSalle University. His career led him to Villanova University where he was a Professor of Economics, he then continued on to work for the U.S Government as a Branch Chief, where he supervised data collections.

Paul was a member of the Valley Forge Presbyterian Church in King of Prussia, PA. He was a member of the William L. Elkins Lodge No. 271, the Upper Merion Lion’s Club, The King of Prussia VFW and the American Legion. He attended the Upper Merion Senior Center and worked out most recently at Superfit Gym in Conshohocken, PA.

Paul traveled the world with his wife, and when their grandson, Anthony was old enough he joined them on trips to Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, to see singers’ homes, Gettysburg, and other places that have paranormal experiences. After retiring, Paul worked for S.G. Isaacs (an in-home community support provider) and worked with his grandson daily and led BINGO together for the community at various locations for free. Paul and his family were Chickasaw Indians.

Surviving is his loving family including his grandson, Anthony J. Rogers; 3 brothers: Carlton “Carl” (Irene) Little, Robert “Bobby” (Mary) Little, and Tommy Eugene (Gigi) Little; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Little; and many other loving family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon; a sister Lois Betty Messina and her husband, Frank; and a brother Donna-Joseph “Joe” Little.
