Drena Ann Posey, 81, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Born on March 25, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Grace (Thompson) Yeagley. A proud graduate of Lebanon High School, Drena went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse, dedicating herself to caring for others throughout a successful nursing career. She later found joy and success as a Tupperware consultant, eventually rising to the position of Regional Manager. In her later years, she worked in the Pharmacy Department at Walmart before retiring. Drena was married to the love of her life, Larry Posey, for over 20 wonderful years until his passing in 2003. Together, they shared a love for animals, especially their cats, enjoyed riding motorcycles, and ran a beloved karaoke business in Lebanon County. The heart of her family, Drena was a proud mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She took immense pride in her children and grandchildren, rarely missing a sporting event, recital, or school activity. Drena's favorite hobby was tending to her beautiful garden and creating homemade soups and sauces from its bounty. Holidays and family gatherings were especially dear to her, and she was happiest when surrounded by those she loved. She never missed an episode of General Hospital and was a proud patriot who hosted legendary Fourth of July picnics each year. She also cherished her annual beach trips with family, where she enjoyed coin arcades and spending one-on-one time shopping and dining with each grandchild. Drena attended church regularly with her granddaughter and others, and always looked forward to lunch at Toscos afterward. Her deep faith and love for the Lord were the cornerstone of her life. Though allergic to roses, they remained her favorite flower. She often said she wanted them near her when she met the Lord-and so they will be. Drena's generous spirit touched countless lives. She welcomed everyone with open arms and had many "adopted" grandchildren whom she treated as her own. Known for her heartfelt advice, home-cooked meals, and loving presence, she leaves behind a legacy of compassion, faith, and devotion. She is survived by her children: Stephen (Steve) and wife Robin Stine, Douglas (Doug) Stine, and Jeffrey (Jeff) and wife Andrea Stine; sisters Renee Degler and Kathy Yeagley; grandchildren Kylie Stine, Kala Stine, Keira Stine, Stephen (Stevie) Stine, Michael Stine, Ashley (Stine) Bottiglia, Terran Lerch, Terina Sweitzer, Timothy Stine, and Tyler Stine; and her many "grandchildren by love," including Jayd, Shannon Jr., Natalie, Hailey, Sabryna, Kenzie, Nathan, Hannah, Frankie, Tyson, Kaleb, and Aubrey. She also leaves behind several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son, Timothy (Tim) Stine. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday April 22, 2025 at the Myerstown Christian Fellowship Church, 59 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067. A graveside service will follow. Drena will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her warmth, her strength, and the love she so freely gave.
