A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the Robinson Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Entombment will be held at a later date in the Milford Cemetery Mausoleum in Milford. Arrangements are under the direction of the Robinson Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Online condolences may be left at www.spiritlakefuneralhome.com
Duane "Charlie" Glover was born on September 15, 1941, to Eva (Stephas) and Waldo Dammann. He was born in Milford, grew up in Terril and graduated from high school in Arnolds Park. Duane attended trade school in Kansas City for Automotive Mechanics.
He enjoyed softball, fishing, golfing and participating in any sports his kids were in. Charlie also enjoyed fiddledickin around at the farm, and playing cards with his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years Janice, daughter Michelle Glover, son Kiley (Annie), and granddaughter Sierra Glover (Varmint), (who thought he was a cutie patootie).
Duane was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, two brothers and one sister.
