Duane D. Larsen, age 93, passed away peacefully at Amelia Senior Living January 13, 2025.

He was born August 23, 1931, to the late Einer and Mabel (Hansen) Larsen in Council Bluffs, IA. Duane graduated Underwood High School with the class of 1949 and then proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He was a lifelong farmer and a member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church Boomer Township Neola.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie "Carol" Larsen; son, Roger Larsen; brother, Dean Larsen; granddaughter, Melissa McIntosh.

Duane is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Laurie & Craig McIntosh and Sherrie & Michael Rollings; son and daughter-in-law, Rodney & Victoria Larsen; sister and brother-in-law, Eileen & Jack Denne; brother and sister-in-law, Calvin & Karen Larsen; grandchildren, Jeff (Anna) Rollings, Steven Rollings, and Sean (Alexandria) McIntosh; great grandchildren, Jonah Ferrin, Jordyn Ferrin, and Owen Rollings; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church Boomer Township Neola on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Saint Paul's Lutheran Church Boomer Township Neola.
