Duane Lee Linton was born on December 25, 1938 in Garden City, Michigan. He was sent to his eternal resting place on August 28, 2025 after his long battle with cancer.
He was the beloved son of Earl and Bonnie (Hilyard)Linton and brother Rodger Linton, who proceeded him in death at the age 33.
Duane, or admirably known as "Tooley Cat", was a shining light in the lives of all whom had the privilege of knowing him.
He had so much love for his family, especially his wife, Arlene, of almost 65 years. Arlene was what his life was built on. It was built on his faith in God, love and hard work.
Duane and Arlene were married on May 31, 1958. They were both young and in love ready to start their journey together. They raised four children; son, Chris Linton and daughter, Karen Linton, who both proceeded him in death, and survived by daughter, Brenda Czubaj (Raymond Czubaj) and daughter, Sandra Yetter.
He will also be greatly missed by his five grandchildren, Tonya Jackson, Kirk, Jackson, Samantha Jackson, Amanda Gale, Brandon Yetter, and his four great grandchildren, Lucas Parkila, Lexi Parkila, Jacob Gale, and Jameson Gale.
Duane proudly worked for Ford Motor Company for 23 years at the Dearborn Rotunda Plant as a Design Aide.
After retirement, he lived his life, indulging in his favorite hobbies including model airplanes, hunting, playing guitar and rooting for all his favorite Detroit teams.
