Duane Scott

Duane Scott, 76, of Canton, passed away on October 17, 2025. He was born in Canton on April 5, 1949, to the late William James and Myzie (Patrick) Scott.
He was a 1967 graduate of Canton McKinley High School and served his country in the United States Army.
Duane was a baptized member of Canton Central Congression of Jehovah's Witnesses where he dedicated himself to serving the spiritual needs of others.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Duan Scott, Gayle Rushin, Jared Scott, Dionne Rushin, Parish Rushin, Malachi Rushin, Joan Rushin, Trenton Rushin, Richard Rushin and Ricardo Rushin; many cousins, especially Kim (Marvin) Johnson and Gayle Patrick, and other extended family members.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 10th from 5:00 p.m.-6:00p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home, 1517 Market Ave. N., Canton, Ohio, 44714.
A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m.
Duane's family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the dedicated caregivers and close friends who provided unwavering support and comfort during his final years.
