Duane E. Webb Jr, 87, of Tucker, Georgia died Saturday December 20, 2025 at Decatur Emory Hospital, Decatur, Georgia. He was born on June 26, 1938 in McKenzie, Tennessee; grew up in Gleason, Tennessee and attended his first year of school in a one room school house where his father was the teacher.
Mr. Webb was an Industrial Engineer who retired as a Vice president from SunTrust Banks in Atlanta, Ga. He graduated from Memphis Technical High School, Memphis, Tennessee; attended the University of Tennessee at Martin, and Mississippi State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree; was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of Mount Carmel Christian Church in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
Mr. Webb is survived by his wife, Jeanette Moon Webb, married 62 years, and 2 children: daughter Marcia Webb Cofer (Jody) - 3 grandchildren - Brittany, Attison (Blake) and Jody Hadden Cofer of Loganville, Georgia; son Derek H. Webb (Halida) of Lawrenceville, Georgia. 4 grandchildren, from his oldest daughter, - Jeffrey Moulder, Mason Moulder, Logan Moulder and Matthew Moulder ( three great grandchildren, Micah Moulder, Lawson Moulder, Myles), of Lawrenceville, Georgia;
Mr. Webb was preceded in death by his daughter, Vicki Webb Moulder; parents, Duane and Dorothy Woodall Webb of Gleason, Tennessee; Grandparents - Gus and Eunice Allmon Webb of Gleason, Tennessee, William B. (Dorothy Thornhill Woodall) and Gladys Hill Woodall of Hayneville, Alabama; and his sister, Linda Webb Davis (Arthur) of Gleason, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be held at Bill Head Funeral Home on Monday, December 29th, 2025. Visitation will start at 10:00 am with the service to follow at 11:00am. Burial to be at New Hope Cemetery, Gleason, Tennessee. Officiating will be Father William DeBardeleben, Mr. Webb's first cousin.
