Dustin Michael Blenker, a beloved resident of Wausau, WI, departed this life on Monday, July 28, 2025, at the young age of 34, surrounded by his cherished family and friends who offered their love and support during his final moments.

Born on June 28, 1991, Dustin was the son of Terri Ann Terrones (Neubauer) and Joseph Blenker (Pam Tessmer). He proudly graduated from Athens Senior High School in 2009, where his talent and dedication in wrestling earned him respect and admiration among his peers. Dustin thrived in the company of friends, creating bonds that will last beyond his years.

An avid outdoorsman, Dustin delighted in hunting a variety of game, including deer-whether with rifle or bow-as well as turkey and duck. His love for nature extended to fishing, both on open water and through the ice during the months of winter. Whether casting a line or enjoying the stillness of the woods, it was in these moments that Dustin truly found peace. He also enjoyed camping trips, where he embraced the wilderness while creating unforgettable memories with his family. Dustin participated in local volleyball leagues and a in soft-tip darts. His dedication led him to serve as Treasurer on the Central Wisconsin Dart Association board, where he played an integral role. Dustin shone brightly in dart tournaments across the state and even in Las Vegas, showcasing his skills while earning accolades and the admiration of his fellow players.

In his professional life, Dustin was a member of the Local 18 union at Stainless Specialists, where his work ethic and commitment were greatly valued. He had previously worked at Merrill Steel, all while building a reputation as a reliable and hard-working individual.

Dustin shared a deep connection with his wife, Summer Blenker (Anderson), whom he loved dearly. Their 14-year relationship culminated in marriage on June 9, 2018, in a ceremony at Willow Springs Garden. Together, they nurtured their four wonderful children: Gabriel "Gabe" Anderson, Jocelynn Blenker, Aubrey Blenker, and Freya Blenker, who were the light of his life.

He is lovingly remembered by his stepmother, Deborah Steit; his parents-in-law, Kimberly and Richard Roush; and his grandparents and step-grandparents: Suzanne Neubauer and Joseph Neubauer, Jean and Jerry Blenker, Carol Roush, and Dale Stone. Dustin's memory lives on through his siblings: Robert "Bob" Streit, Kimberly "Kim" Brusky, Samantha Aguilar, Michael Blenker, Jeremy Blenker, Antonio "Tony" Mejia, Brad Roush, Sarah Roush, Brent Roush, and Matthew Gitter. He also cherished his nieces and nephews, including Edalynn Gitter and Logan Blenker, Esperanza Aguilar-Blenker, Rowan Roush and mourned the loss of his deceased nephew, Luke Blenker.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a fund established for Dustin Blenker's children at the Athens Area Credit Union in Athens, Wisconsin. Those interested in contributing can call (715) 257-9337 for more information on how to help.

A private funeral ceremony will be held for family and close friends to honor Dustin's life at St. Therese Catholic Church in Schofield, WI. A Celebration of Life event is also planned for September 6 at Pam's Sunshine Inn in Athens, WI, where loved ones will gather to share memories, laughter, and heartfelt tributes to a truly remarkable man. Further details will be shared as the date approaches.
