Dustin Tyler Lapp, born on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 1997, in Silver Spring, Maryland, left this world unexpectedly on August 13, 2025, in Leesburg, Virginia. He was a remarkable individual whose personality shone brightly with silliness and compassion, making him a loving brother and friend to many.

Dustin's early years through ninth grade were spent in Ashburn, Virginia before moving to Montrose, Colorado. It was in Colorado that he graduated from Montrose high school, laying the foundation for the vibrant life he would lead. Following high school, he briefly attended Northern Virginia Community College. His culinary talents were well-known, and he dedicated many years to working in the restaurant industry, where he shared his love for cooking with those around him. He also loved longboarding, animals, and of course, pie.

An avid enthusiast of fishing and playing video games. Dustin cherished the moments spent with his extensive family and friends. He was known for his ability to uplift those around him, creating a sense of joy and comfort in their lives. Never having a single bad thing to say about anyone.

Dustin leaves behind a devoted family who will miss him dearly. He is survived by his father, Michael Graminski, his mother, Bethany Lapp-Sheridan, stepfather, Jeremy Sheridan, stepmother, Casey Graminski, grandmother, Barbara Cress, stepgrandmother, Jennifer Lapp, and stepgrandparents Will and Debra Liu.  His siblings include Matthew, Ava, Katie, Lauren, and Emmett Graminski. He is also remembered by his uncles, Andrew Lapp, Jerry and John Graminski, his aunts, Josyln Liu, Stephanie and Jamie Cress, Eileen Marcoe, Mary Livingston, Marla Levinsohn, Sue McKee, and Debbie Werden, as well as 21 cousins who will carry his spirit with them.

Dustin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Edmond and Marla Graminski, grandfather, John Lapp, stepgrandfather, Michael Cress, and his aunt, Jeanne Graeffe. His legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed but forever cherished.
