Dwayne Edward Hite

Dwayne Edward Hite, age 57, of Lawrenceville, VA, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Gene Hite and Deanna Hobbs Hite, an unborn angel baby, and a granddaughter, Leah Brooke.

 

Dwayne was an electrician by trade for over 30 years. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church in La Crosse, VA. He enjoyed fishing with his children, vacationing with his family, vegetable gardening, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Most of all, he will be remembered as a loving husband and father.

 

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kimberly Wesson Hite; his children, Brittany Dawn Lucy, Meghan Brooke Comly (Justin), Jessica Layne Hite, Brandon Cole Hite, and Ethan Blake Hite; grandchildren, Kailynn, Madelyn, Layla, Kaycen, Charlotte, Kyland, and a grandson on the way; siblings, Donna Newcomb (Curtis), Debbie Mullins (Jerco), Dianne Allgood (David), Donnie Hite, and David Hite (Courtney), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 

A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Southside Baptist Church, 303 Wells Street, La Crosse, VA 23950, followed by interment at Bethel Church Cemetery, Alberta, VA. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m.
