Earl Wayne Adams, age 80 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 21/2025.
Earl was a member of Science Hill Church of Christ.
He graduated high school at the age of 16, then attended Fall's Business College for a degree in CPA.
He worked as a manager at Murfreesboro Freight Line for 15 years, then went on to own Murfreesboro Sporting goods. After that he would work on his farm known as Cripple Creek Charolais.
He was born July 23, 1944, in Murfreesboro, TN to the late Robert and Imogene Jamison Adams.
Also preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Jean Adams and Patsy Ann Adams.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Betty Bly Adams; sons, Darrell (Lisa) Adams; Darian Adams; daughter, Beth Adams; grandchildren, Bailey (Lee) Adams; Meagan (Donnie) Clark; Buck (Shae) Adams; great grandchildren, Eli Adams; Olivia Clark; Betty Evadean Adams; brothers, Billy Jo (Geraldine) Adams; Bobby (Charlaine) Adams; sister, Patsy Jernigan Adams; and numerous beloved extended family.
Earl loved fishing, hunting, farming, but most of all loved his grandkids and family.
Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 11am – 2pm with the service to follow at 2pm. Bro. Nickey Nichols will be officiating. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
