Earl, age 81, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. Earl was a native and recent resident of Albany, LA. Throughout his life he lived all over the country; from Alaska to Louisiana. Earl was a 'Jack of All Trades', everything from carpentry, woodworking and even cooking. He enjoyed going hunting and fishing with his family and friends. Earl was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who is already dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Earl is survived by his by his children, Robin Kinchen, Kevin Kinchen (Susie); Joshua Kinchen, Jennifer Kinchen Jones (Brian), and Dylan Kinchen; brother, Jerry Kinchen (Essie); grandchildren, Amanda Holton (Ryan), Kevin Kinchen (Jillian), Autumn Kinchen (Ferlin), and Brooke Jones; great-grandchildren, Melodie Holton, Andrew Holton, Isaiah Kinchen, Harper Kinchen, Hayden Lock, Hayven Lock, Dakota Solomon, and Gresyn Mulkey; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Earl is preceded in death by his parents, Pink and Inez Blount Kinchen, and step-father, Joe Stafford; siblings, Annie Carpenter, Pinkie Delatte-Hutchinson, Joyce Baker Collins, Alex Kinchen, and Elmer Kinchen; granddaughter, Summer Kinchen; along with wife, Ruth Gatlin Kinchen. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation from the Chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 12012 Hwy 190 West Hammond, LA. on Monday, August 4, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Eddie Koch will officiate with interment to follow in Kinchen Cemetery in Holden.
