Ed Hoffman, 57, of Littlestown, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Bonnie (Robertson) Hoffman, with whom he shared 38 wonderful years of marriage.
Ed was the son of Robert Hoffman, Sr. of Westminster and the late Martha (Wetzel) Hoffman.
Ed had a passion for restoring classic cars. He cherished time spent with his family, especially his granddaughter, enjoyed camping trips, especially his trips to the cabin in Tennessee. Most importantly, Ed recently found great joy and peace in his renewed faith, finding a church home where he deepened his relationship with Jesus Christ. His greatest wish was for others to know the love of God, to believe in Christ, and to understand that Heaven Is Real!
In addition to his wife Bonnie, father Wayne, and stepmother Mary, Ed is survived by his daughter, Melissa Bowman & husband Troy Bowman. Granddaughter, Sadie Lynn Bowman; Grandsons by Love, Jordan Stevenson and Kobe Stevenson; Brothers, Wayne Hoffman, Jim Hoffman; sister, Tina Hoffman; mother-in-law, Cindy Robertson; and many loving extended family members and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Hoffman; his son, Steven Hoffman; and his father-in-law, Vernon Robertson.
A service to celebrate Ed's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Heritage Assembly of God, 1575 Chambersburg Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325, with Pastor Todd McCauslin. A time to share memories and an opportunity for viewing will take place from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Melissa Bowman, Wayne Hoffman, Jim Hoffman, Troy Bowman, Toppy Ramey, and TJ Chapman. Honorary Pallbearers will include Sadie Lynn Bowman, Jordan Stevenson, and Kobe Stevenson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Assembly of God, 1575 Chambersburg Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
