Born July 12, 1954 in Gettysburg, he was the son of the late Clair and Norma J. (Swope) Cooley.
Rusty loved music and was an avid baseball fan. He also enjoyed his daily visits to the Prospect Diner. He will be greatly missed by his aunt, Patricia (Swope) Flickinger and husband Allen, as well as many loving cousins, extended family and friends.
A graveside service to celebrate Rusty's life will be held in private by his family.
