Visitation is Tuesday, September 9, 2025, 10:00am - 11:00am at Clarksdale Church of God in Clarksdale, MS. Funeral services are 11:00am Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Clarksdale Church of God in Clarksdale, MS with burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Sumner, MS. Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.
He was a member of Clarksdale Church of God.
Survivors include two sons Eddie Bright, II of Springfield, MO and Josh Bright of Clarksdale, MS; mother Patricia Jenkins Bright of Clarksdale, MS, brothers Tim Mooneyham (Melinda) of Booneville, MS and Victor Mooneyham of Clarksdale, MS; sisters Nancy Williams of Alexandria, LA and Jimmie Nell Hardy of Indianola, MS; two grandchildren Pixley Tippitt-Bright and Evie Tippitt- Bright.
Preceded in death by his wife Scarlett Spears Bright, father Eddie Bright, and sister Betty McCool.
