Eddie Reed "Easy-E" Frye, 32, of Wilson, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023 at his home following a lengthy illness.
He was born on February 17, 1990 in Minneapolis, MN, son to Rodney Frye Sr. and Paula "Bunny" Sagataw. As a child, their family moved to Hannahville where he attended school and he loved being involved in sports. He graduated from Hannahville School. Eddie was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and enjoyed watching all sports.
On May 20, 2020, Eddie married Amanda Jane (Lindsey) Meshigaud in Hannahville.
From the age of 18, Eddie was employed with the Island Resort and Casino as a dealer.
Eddie loved being with his family and friends and especially enjoyed doing all outdoor activities with his kids.
Among survivors include his wife, Amanda Frye; children, Anthony Lindsey, Kaitlyn Young, Abriella Meshigaud, Aubree Meshigaud, Enzo Frye and Enly Frye; parents, Rodney Frye Sr. and Paula "Bunny" Sagataw; siblings, Rodney Frye Jr., Douglas Frye, and Sandy Frye; grandfather, Reed Keezer; father in law, Chadwick Fox; mother in law, Dawn Fox; sisters in law, Melissa (Josh) Mach and Cynthia Chroge; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter; grandma, Edna Keezer; and maternal grandparents.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 1st beginning at 5 p.m. (Eastern Time) at the Hannahville Community Center. The funeral service will follow on Thursday, February 2nd at 10 a.m.
