Mr. Eddie Joe Johnson

Eddie Joe Johnson, 72, died Monday, Sept. 26, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Dorothy A. Brincefield-Johnson. Born in Charlotte, NC, he was a graduate of Charlotte Schools, earned his Bachelor's Degree from Union College and earned his Masters Degree from Iona College, both in New York. He was a resident of Stoughton for the past 7 years, previously living in New York for many years. Mr. Johnson worked as a computer engineer for Parsons Brinkerhoff in Boston for many years. He was a Past Warden at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Stoughton for several years. In his free time, he enjoyed working with computers. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Deborah A. Ruffins and Mark E. Johnson, both of NY. He was the brother of Sydney Paul Edwards and Renwick Edwards both of NY. M. Johnson is also survived by 2 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held in the Trinity Episcopal Church, 414 Sumner St., Stoughton, on Friday, October 7 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday, October 6, from 5-8 PM. Burial will take place on Saturday at the Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY.
