Mr. Eddie Floyd Johnson, husband of Barbara Johnson, son of the late Rev. Robert L. and Annie Maude Johnson, passed Saturday, January 17, 2026, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Eddie was a cherished individual known for his no nonsense, tell it like it is personality. He was raised in a Christian home by his parents. He attended Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church and Community Grove Baptist Church. After graduation from Greer High School in 1985, Eddie worked as a plumber and truck driver developing lifelong skills and knowledge that he used to help others. Eddie never met a stranger. He touched many lives with his profound sense of humor, outgoing nature and willingness to help anyone he could.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Eddie, including his wife Barbara for over 9 years, are his sons, Demetrius (Samantha) Johnson of Greer, SC and Nori (Jamielia) Johnson of Statesboro, GA; his siblings, Velma (Carl) Wright of Woodruff, SC and Phil (Melissa) Johnson of Duncan, SC; five grandchildren, Zaelyn Johnson, Ariana Johnson, Myla Johnson, Adrien Johnson and Talia Johnson; along with a host of other family and friends that hold numerous memories, adventures, dear stories and inside jokes that will forever be cherished in their hearts!

Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, (PENDING WEATHER, PLEASE CHECK THE MORNING OF-864-877-2581) 3:00 PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Please keep the Johnson family in your prayers.
