Mr. Mashburn passed away Friday, January 5, 2023. He is preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Theresa Morgan Mashburn.
A machinist of 50 years, Eddie loved his family fiercely and was happiest when he was around them. He was beyond proud of each of his children. His grand babies and great grand babies were the highlight of his life.
An outdoorsman through and through, Eddie also loved hunting and fishing. He had the best last day that he could have asked for. He went deer hunting with his long time buddy, Jerry. He was cracking jokes and sending selfies just hours before passing. He was at peace knowing his children were happy, healthy and thriving. And as heavy and sad as our hearts are today, Eddie gets to be with his wife again forever in Heaven. His last months were filled with family, memories and peace. Until we meet again, we love you and adore you. You will be dearly missed on this earth.
Eddie is survived by his children, Jason Mashburn, Joey Mashburn (Ema-Leigh), and Dawn Breeden (John); grandchildren, Taylor Witt (Jarrod), Seth Mashburn-Goodwin (Sharia), Landon Breeden, Jackson Fielding, Bryant Mashburn, and Addison "Addie" Mashburn; great-grandchildren, MaKayla Witt McDonald, Karter Witt, Jayce Goodwin, and Torin Goodwin; brother, Harold Allen Mashburn (Gail); and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jason Mashburn, Joey Mashburn, Allen Mashburn, John Breeden, Seth Mashburn-Goodwin, Landon Breeden, Jarrod Witt, Jackson Fielding, Jerry Anderson and Dwayne Haynes.
In accordance to Mr. Mashburn's wishes, in lieu of flowers, please buy a spiral ham and enjoy spending time with your family.
