Eddie Perez, age 55, closed his eyes in rest on Saturday May 18th, 2024. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, son, husband, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Eddie was born on October 6, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois to the marriage of Juan Hernandez Perez and Anita Castillo. His older sister, Gina, and older brother John welcomed Eddie home. While he was a child, the family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas where Eddie spent his adolescence before moving to Kansas City, Missouri as a young adult. Eddie remembered Corpus Christi fondly and always referred to it as home.
As servants of Jehovah God, Juan and Anita set a fine example for their children, instilling in them love for Jehovah and the hope of everlasting life on a paradise earth. On June 14, 1997, Eddie was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in the "Faith in God's Word" District Convention, while part of the Linwood congregation.
Eddie loved his children deeply. He loved spending time with them, taking them to the zoo, playing games, grilling in the backyard, and watching their favorite movies. His children meant the world to Eddie.
