Eddie Rinchuso, age 78, of White Hall, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
Born James Edward Rinchuso on October 29, 1946 to the late Joseph John Rinchuso and Valana Turchi Rinchuso, he was a lifelong resident of the Pine Bluff area. He graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1964 and Arkansas State University in 1969.
For 40 years, Eddie worked for the Arkansas Department of Corrections and retired as assistant superintendent of the department's school system.
A lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, he was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and was a past Grand Knight. An avid duck hunter and fisherman, he was also a life member of the Crockett Lake Hunting Club.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Woodyard Rinchuso, whom he married on August 15, 1967 at Pine Bluff; two children, Amy Rinchuso and Ryan "Rocky" Rinchuso (Jenny); two sisters, Pat Elmore and Judy Ellison; seven grandchildren, Andrew Cardin (Janie), Stacie Teddington (Adrian), Joseph Rinchuso (Toni), Jasmine Evans, Christian Hatcher (Madelyn), Laiken Moser (Dylan), and Courtney Rinchuso; and five great-grandchildren, Samantha Teddington, Adriana Teddington, Brodie Cardin, Blair Cardin, and Heston Hatcher.
There will be a Rosary service Friday, July 11, 2025, beginning at 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will follow from 2:00-3:00 p.m., and the funeral mass will begin at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery by Robinson & Fuller.
